Bushnell 15-45x50mm Spotting Scope

Just got my first scope. One problem i am finding, is when looking into the eyepiece i have trouble keeping steady. I wrapped my fingers around the eyepiece and found i could view a lot better. My question is there some kind of relief eyepiece that i can attach to make viewing much easier?

Thank you for your interest in www.OpticsPlanet.com. One of the problems with anything at high magnification, is that any movement is magnified 20-30 times or more. That will give you a shaky image regardless of what you do. What I have done in the past, and usually helps, is to try and not touch the spotting scope, as that only shakes the scope even more. Move the scope to what you want to look at, let it settle, than view. You will also want to increase your eye relief, back your eye away from the eyepiece. That will give you a little more leeway for movement, and will get rid of the fignetting (the black ring around your image). We do not have any sort of stabilizer available for a spotting scope.
