Which spotting scope to buy?

The main purpose for the scope will be target shooting at distances from 33 ft (airguns) to 300 yds.

I wear eyeglasses and therefore will need a scope with the capability for long eye relief.

Price range to be less than $1000.

Also, do you recommend the straight eyepiece or the 45 degree eyepiece?

Thank you for your interest in www.OpticsPlanet.com. There are many spotting scopes available that work very well for target practice. Whether you want angled or straight through depends on what is more comfortable. Most tartget shooters prefer straight through.
I would suggest a scope up to 60x magnification. Some of our more popular models include:

The difference between the 60, 70, and 80mm scope is that the larger that objective lens, the brighter the image. This is especially important if you plan on viewing a lot in dusk and dawn hours when it is not as bright out.
