Can you help me compare the Nikon 440 Laser Rangefinder with the Bushnell Yardage Pro Sport 450 Laser Rangefinder? I need a rangefinder for golf.

Hi,

These two models are designed primarily for hunting and field use,
and I would not recommend either of the two models to use for Golf.

Golf rangefinders
have software designed to seek the nearest object
first. Hunting laser range finders have software designed
to ignore the closest target and look for the most distant target. You can
use a hunting laser rangefinder for golf, but you may have to take several
readings to target the flag. Hunting laser rangefinders are also heavier and
bulkier than golf rangefinders.

Both of these are good values in a field rangefinder with similar
capabilites. Of the two, I like the Nikon 440 Laser Rangefinder a bit better for its
optics and handling.
