Mount for the Swarovski Habicht AV 4-12x50mm Rifle Scope

Can you explain to me the new Swarovski rail mount scopes and the weaver type mounts? I have a Sako 300 WSM rifle that I would like to mount the Swarovski Habicht AV 4-12x50mm Rifle Scope to and I would also like to know if this would be a good model for my rifle. I am using this gun for elk, mule deer and african antelope.

You then need to add the Swaroski Rail Mount, http://www.opticsplanet.net/swarovski-weaver-style-cross-slot-mount-set-49360.html to the weaver base. The rail mount substitutes for the rings. Excellent choice for your application, by the way.
