Formatting a memory card

I just returned from vacation with a full 128 MB memory card. However, I cannot view the pictures as the message window has the message:
"Memory card needs to be formatted." I understand that formatting the card may cause me to loose or erase all of the pictures. Is there a way to retrieve the pictures from the card without losing them? I also unsuccessfull tried to download them from my Easy Share camera onto my computer.

Please help if you can!

Hi

Other than trying to restart, can't offer much in the way of advice since we are not qualified in computer software support. I'd recommend calling the manufacturer of your card or someone in tech support for your brand of computer.
