Brunton 7x40 waterproof or not?

You're listing a product called:
"Brunton MacroScope 7x40 Waterproof Monocular"

as being waterproof, which the manufacturer's web site:
http://www.brunton.com/tech_data/Scopes.pdf
says is not waterproof.

So, is the 7x40 actually waterproof, or to get waterproofness (I'm a kayaker) do I need to go down the the 6x30 model which everyone agrees is waterproof?
