or power needed to be able to spot these planets. We were interested
in the Bushnell 420x refractor telescope. Would this telescope allow

Hi Arnie

You will be able to see the rings of Saturn with as little as 50x
magnification. Small telescopes such as the Bushnell will offer useable
magnification of up to 150x under ideal viewing conditions, but the best
images will be at 50-125x. Do not expect to use the advertised 420x.
