Other than the price, What is the significant differences between the Decatur Prospeed and the Jugs gun which they make for Jugs ???
Can / Cannot the Prospeed be used just as well for baseball/softball as the Jugs gun.
I need a gun with a data port. The ProSpeed comes with a data port already so whats the honest difference and is it worth the extra $$$ for a Jugspeed with a data port.

Hi
Although Decautur makes the Jugs, they do advertise them for different applications. The Decatur is advertised for larger objects such as vehicles, while the Jugs is advertised for smaller targets like a baseball.
To be honest, I doubt there is a huge difference between them and since we have had customers use the cheaper radar guns for baseball (with limited success), I'd say the Prospeed should do fine for that application. _________________ ----------------------

In what way is it limited ?
I have a bushnell that was a total waste of money, so i don't want to go down that road again.
I have seen different folks recommend the prospeed for tennis and trapshooting which are both "small" objects. And heard some softball folks say there wasn't $.02 worth of difference in the guts between the Prospeed and the Jugs other than the big Jugs mark-up. I have asked Decatur and one of the other retailers about it and you get this canned non anwser response tip toeing around a real anwser and refering you to the jugs rep. I know that there are some different switches and methods for using continuous mode etc. but they both seem to be using the same K band antena, both tuned with the same 61mph fork etc. Assuming they are tuned properly if you put the 2 side by side and pull the trigger are you going get the same result ???
Thanks

Hi
I understand. When I say limited, I was referring to the Bushnell, not the Prospeed. Compared to the Jugs, I don't think the Porspeed is limited at all. _________________ ----------------------
