| I have a Marlin 30-30 for deer hunting. Most of my shots are under 50 yards in the Missouri woods. Could I put a laser sight on, and would it work?If so what kind? |

Hi Trent
Yes, you could mount a laser sight on your Marlin, but keep in mind that a laser as a sight is subject to a lot of weather related variables. You may have trouble spotting a laser dot out in the woods amid all the foliage, especially in fog or rainy conditions.
A better option would be a red dot sight, or better yet, a holographic sight such as the BUshnell HOLOsight, http://www.opticsplanet.net/buhohostrela.html. This rugged sight is the fastest sight to acquire when you need to get into action quickly and will be vsisble under all conditions. For hunting, the HOLOsight is a much better option than a laser sight. _________________ ----------------------
