I am a First Lieutenant stationed in Balad, Iraq. I am looking for a laser range finder to buy for my reconnaissance teams to use when making measurements for possible bridge sites. Therefore I need a range finder with a short minimum distance (no more than a few meters). Searching through your website, I was looking at the Opti-Logic 400LH Laser Range Finder Hypsometer, but I am concerned about the operating temperature. It can get up to 130-140 degrees fahrenheit here. Do you carry any range finders that can handle that kind of extrem temperatures?

Thanks for serving. God bless you and all the troops.

Optilogic said they currently have units serving overseas and have had no problems. In extreme cases, when left out in the sun, the LCD screen on the Opti-Logic 400LH Laser Range Finder Hypsometer sometimes turns black and is unuseable until cooled off, then works again with no problems. Looks like a good choice.
