When a Night Vision device has a x1 magnification, does that mean that when you look through it will be like seeing normally but in the dark. Obviously it will not be perfect vision but for example, can you put your hand near your face and see it without it being blurred? Mine has x2 and unless you are five feet away everything is blurry, meaning it is more for observation and limits movement.
You are correct. One power (1X) is what our eyes see. Night Vision Goggles have generally no magnification so they can be used for driving and other actions requiring no magnification. You should be able to see your hand in front of your face, but often have to adjust your focus. _________________ Aim Hard!
