I need a night vision rifle scope and can spend up to about $1,000, hoping to get a gen. 2 scope. I was looking at the ATN MK 440 but probably should spend a bit more to go to Gen. 2. Can you recommend one for me?

Hi,

Don't know of any gen two scopes in your price range. A couple of my favorite gen ones that I have used are this Night Owl http://www.opticsplanet.net/night-owl-night-shot-19-1-riflele-scope-nors173.html and this ATN http://www.opticsplanet.net/atnarmkpalni.html . I think both are very user friendly and good quality. It depends on what you're doing with it, but most people are very pleased with the performance and price of these two units.
