I am concidering a Nikon Earth & Sky 15-45x60 scope and was wondering if the tripod that was included with the outfit was very good, would it be better to by the scope only and purchase a better tripod seperately.

Hi

The tripod that is supplied with the Nikon outfits is certainly adequate for traveling and light field use. When using higher magnifications or when using with a camera, I would certainly recommend something more substantial in a tripod.
