I read the reply "Go with the best value, the 20-60x63." I still do not understand the "Regular" price difference. $299.99 on the 78-2065 vs $429.95 on the BU-SS-787363. Seems like there is something I'm missing. Can you clue me in?

Hi

Regular prices are manufacturer's suggested list prices. Do not take them too literally as no one who sells Bushnell products actually sells Bushnell at these prices. Suggested list prices are merely a starting point from which retailers discount. The most important price, as always, is what you actually pay. In that sense, the Bushnell 20-60x63 is one of the best bargains on a spotting scope anywhere.
