I recently purchased a HOLO Sight at an estate sale.
It functioned fine at the sale.
I installed a new set of batteries and now can not get it to turn on.
Is there a special sequence for turning the unit on?
It is the 4 button style. UP, Down, I/O, And a battery button.

Hi,

Either of the up or down buttons will turn the unit on. If it doesn't work, and the batteries are correct, call Bushnell at 800-221-9035 for repair.

The 1998 version of the HOLO sight is different than current models.
It has a 4 button format, as mentioned, and I think that only the newer models turn on from the UPor Down buttans.
Good Luck

This is a four(4) button unit, not the same as the current version which only has an up & down button.
Also, would you know for sure what type battery the older units use?

Bushnell said to press and hold the button without markings on it to turn the unit on. It uses two 1.5 volt "N" batteries.

Thanks Steve,

Your info helped to solve my problem.
The button they refered to does have markings (I/O).
I had 2 problems, I was not holding the button long enough and the reticle/red ring was adjusted up off the screen.
All is well now, and again thank you for your time and input.
