In side-by-side comparisons how does the new Pentax PF65 ED scope compare with the other top 60-65 mm scopes (eg. Nikon 60, Zeiss 65, and Swarovski 65)? I am also interested in comparative information related to the new Pentax eyepieces designed for this scope. Relative quality of the zoom as well as some feedback on the fixed focal length eyepieces. Thanks in advance.

Hi

When fitted with the XF eyepieces designed for it, the 65ED Pentax will hold its own with other high-end spotting scopes.

The fixed focal length XF12 and XF8.5 will offer a wider field of view and better eye relief than the zoom. Ifg you wear glasses, you will be happier with the XF12 and XF8.5
