Nikon E2 10x35

Hi!

I ordered this product:

I was told they are out of stock right now, but more should be coming within a couple of weeks.

Does Nikon still manufacture the E2?
I hope I ordered a brand new product, not used/refurbished?

Hi

The E-2 has been discontinued, though Nikon still dribbles one in, now and then, from old inventory. I doubt you will see one anytime soon, however. If you need something NOW, I would strongly recommend looking at another model. Sorry.

For an excellent porro in that price range, try a Swift Audubon 820, http://www.opticsplanet.net/swift-8-5x44mm-bwcf-audubon-waterproof-binoculars.html (still made in Japan, like the E-2)
