Carson binocs

A couple of other forums have been raving about these binocs. They have phase coated optics, and are around $200 at Cabelas. Anyone have an opinion on these?

Hi

Haven't seen one of the Carson's yet, but we will probably take a look at them at one of the upcoming trade shows. From the features and prices, they look like good values.

Cabelas no longer carries the XM series. I went to Sportsman's Warehouse and bought the Alpen Shasta Ridge series 8x42's. I looked at several higher priced models, and the Alpens were as good or better than all of them.
