I have a older style scope that came mounted on a prewar mauser sporter. The scope is made by Norman-Ford & Co of Tyler Texas and
is their model called THE TEXAN. I cannot adjust the focus on it, and it
will need to be resealed , The tube is 7/8 diameter . and the mounts are
made by NIEDNER RIFLE CORP, of DOWAGIAC. MICH. The mounts which
are case hardened tip off type, are pinned and screwed to the action is
why I would like to keep the 7/8 dia scope . Do you know of a repair shop
that could repair this scope? Or where I could purchase a 7/8 dia scope
that could take the recoil of a 30/06? |
