deer scope on 870 with ithica cantilever barrel

Looking for some advice on upgrading an old 870 wingmaster with an ithica cantilever slug barrel. Would like recommendations for a scope and mounts for cantilever.......

How are you planning to mount an Ithaca barrel on an Remington 870? Is this barrel made for an 870?

yes...Ithica makes several aftermarket barrels for Remington, Browning and others....it's similar to Hastings rifled barrels.

I have no scopes at this time, and adding one for deer slug season. With a cantilever barrel, I am wondering if there are any concerns with the type of mounts. I'm thinking of the Bushnell Trophy model.
