Barlow 2x-3x Variable Lens

Has anyone had experience with a Barlow 2x-3x Variable Lens? I'm wondering if this lens' quality and capability is as good as using separate 2x and 3x lenses.

Hi

In theory, this should work just fine. Visually, I can tell little difference between this and two separate Barlows of equal quality.

However, if you are using a refractor or a Mak-SCT, you can get 3x from your 2x barlow anyway just by inserting it forward of your diagonal.
