best observation binoculars recommendations...

Yes, with binoculars, most of the time you get what you paid for.
You will see definitly see a difference between a $100 binocular or when you step up to over $500 price range. As with most products, with binoculars it is a matter of personal preference, allocated budget, and intended application. Some customers want to spend the bare minimum to get the job done, and many people just want the best of the best!
We have a lot of people buying binoculars who live on the beach, ocean or lake - it is hard to imagine a better place for observations!
Of course, for your application you want bright optics and some serious power in your binocular that has to be mounted on a tripod.
The best of the best are
Swarovski Binoculars
All of them have the brightest optics, superb build quality, they are tripod mountable and will serve you for years to come keeping its value.
Another interesting recommendation would be a pair of Oberwerk binoculars
Something like Oberwerk 25/40x100mm Military Observation Binoculars will give you
Another less powerful, but more reasonably-priced option are 80mm and 100mm binoculars from Oberwerk
or one of the great Spotting Scopes that we have in stock
I hope it helps.

Best Regards

A potential customer asked "I have condo at the beach and would like some recommendations on the type of binocular to purchase. I will be viewing boats at sea, stars and of course, people watching. What are some good choices? What would I gain by going from a $500 pr to a $1000 pr? Any other advice would be helpful."
