I agree with ET

The is virtually no difference between 10x and 12x in terms of detail. I'd go to at least 16-20x in a binocular, if you are going to the hassle of a tripod or, better yet, as ET says, just go to a spotting scope and get some serious magnification.

My use - tripod mounted for scanning mountains, ridgelines, across desert for wildlife. For the same price should I go with the Legend Ultra HD 10 x 42 mm or the Bushnell Legend 12x50 Roof Prism Binoculars ?
