bushnell elite E2 vs steiner predator xtremes

If you like the rain guard, by all means go with the E2. It's one of the best binoculars for the dollar for its optics, though,of course, it won't make under your $300 budget. Under $300, one of the best buys is currently the Nikon Monarch 3 10x42. I tested one and was very pleased with the optics and the eye relief - very comfy binocular to use.

Went out hunting in the rain this pasted weekend and was using a pair of cheap bino's because that is all could afford.

Anyway, it was hazy, rainy, cold, etc and of coarse, they didn't perform, useless really so I want to buy a decent pair for hunting and general use.

I use mainly Nikon Monarch and Bushnell Elite scopes because they are good performers for the money spent.

The HD raingaurd is a plus during bad weather, and since money is tight I needsome advice on which Bino's would be a good choice for around $300 or less.

My needs or features wanted:

Waterproof
Eye relief (glasses)
Low light (early morning and late evening)
Lightweight as possible (I hike miles)
Fixed 10x

Game: Deer, hog, predators, etc
General use: around the house, arena's, etc

I understand you get what you pay for but money limits me at this time so What would be the best fit ?

I'm looking at a pair of bins for hunting, I was after either an 8x42 or 10x42 and the elite E2 and the predator xtremes have taken my interest. which would be the better value for money or is there another brand around the same price that I should look at?
