sporting and concert binoculars

I recieved the [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/vortex-brand.html]vortex[/link] diamondback 8x28 but they didn't work for me. I couldn't hold them close to my eyes
or everything turned black. Had a real hard time looking thru them. I returned them and purchased the
[link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/nikon-brand.html]nikon[/link] 8x25 prostaff atf. They seem much more forgiving with the eye placement and are very clear and

No need for the larger binocular unless you want to use it for some other activities. An 8x28 is still a touch bigger than the usual compact and will serve you well. It will be smaller, lighter and a bit more unobtrusive at those events. It would be my choice, especially at concerts.
