Hi James

Bushnell HOLOsight N battery Holographic Standard Reticle Laser Handgun Sight 510021 has the same reticle as the standard holo. In other words, a 65MOA circle with a dot in the middle. Is that what you want?

The XLP is certainly a good choice, though most of our troops opt for the more rugged EOTech HOLOgraphic Weapon Sight.

If you want something with a traditional reticle, I would look at a Trijicon 4x32 ACOG Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight TA01 AR15/M16 though they are in very short supply.

Please let us know if we can help and take care.

Hello, I am currently serving in Iraq and I am interested in purchasing a new sight for my M4. I really like the look and some of the articles I have read about the Bushnell Holosight XLP 530021. I currently have a military issued red dot which I don't like much because after a while the red dot ends up looking like a red blob. I like the idea of having a recticle rather than a red dot. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations? Also, it seems like the Bushnell XLP 530021 has a low profile, would I need to buy a spacer to raise the sight above the iron sights? Please let me know if you think the XLP 530021 is a good choice or if you think I should look into buying something different. Thank you for your time.
