Hi,

Red dot sights are sighted in just like any other optical sighting instrument. You have elevation and windage adjustments just like a rifle scope. The dot does move with the adjustments, and once the sight is sighted in, wherever the dot covers will be your impact point, assuming you do not have to correct for ballistic drop.

im thinking about buying a red dot scope and i was just curious how this sight works.. i mean.. do you have to sight it in because the dot is always in the center and i dont see how it would work like if i was to put it on my bow ive seen a commercial with the red dot scope on a bow i just dont see how it would work.? any comments?
