First you will need to add a base that can mount a
red dot sight. I recommend the
B-Square GP 100 base. This is designed to fit any GP 100 with a 6'' barrel length and will allow you to mount any
red dot with a standard
Weaver base. The
Bushnell TRS-25 would be a good choice for you. It has had some great reviews and has a very large fan base thus far. If you care to spend a little more you can get the
Burris Fastfire II which would be a great addition to your Ruger and is an amazing sight.
