I'm a big fan of the Vortex Sparc, great sight and it would be perfect for a .22. It you want something a little less in cost, take a look at the TRS from Bushnell. For under $100 its probably my favorite red dot.

Even though a lot of red dot sights claim to be parallax free, they are not. Most will have the parallax setting from 50 yards or so to infinity. Realistically for how large the reticle is you will notice no error at closer distances. 50 yards to infinity would be the technical correct specification.

Hi.

newbie question...

when I read that a lot of [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/red-dot-scopes.html]red dot[/link] have parallax setting around 50 yards, Does it means from 0 yard to 50 yards parallax free , or does it mean from 50 yards to infinity, or what does it means exactly ?

thanks
stef
