If you have a newer model 39A with a round barrel you can use this Weaver Base. Product code: WR-MT-DDAEED-48090. This Sightmark Red Dot Sight will attach directly to that weaver rail.

I have a Marlin 39A .22 that I would like to mount either a laser or reflex sight on. The rifle is used for plinking and the control of pests in the yard. What reasonably priced laser or reflex sight would you recommend for mainly daytime use would you recommend and what accessories would I need to mount it on the rifle. Thanks for your help.
