Try the Vortex Strikefire. It's a quality product with the correctly sized mount with included spacer for flattop platform. It also has a night vision mode that you can use with any night vision device. It's in your price range, and they have been proven to be quite robust. You can add a magnifier anytime.

I recently purchased a Sig Sauer m400 Enhanced with all the magpul goodies. I am looking to upgrade with some new optics. I have been researching a few such as the sightmark QD holographic sights with the possibility of the 3x or 5x magnifier side to slide. I have heard mixed reviews about it but ultimately I am looking for a close-medium range red dot/holographic sights. I don't do a whole lot of long range shooting so something for close to medium would be great. Any advice to get me in the right direction would be incredibly helpful! price range is around $100-200; not looking to spend a fortune.
