Hi Trent

Yes, you could mount a laser sight on your Marlin, but keep in mind that a laser as a sight is subject to a lot of weather related variables. You may have trouble spotting a laser dot out in the woods amid all the foliage, especially in fog or rainy conditions.

A better option would be a red dot sight, or better yet, a holographic sight such as the BUshnell HOLOsight, This rugged sight is the fastest sight to acquire when you need to get into action quickly and will be vsisble under all conditions. For hunting, the HOLOsight is a much better option than a laser sight.

I have a Marlin 30-30 for deer hunting. Most of my shots are under 50 yards in the Missouri woods. Could I put a laser sight on, and would it work?If so what kind?
