Hi guys, I just had to jump in with some useful info:

Ray-Ban has factories in both China and Italy. It all depends on the model of frame. The styles that are manufactured in China are still very much authentic. When it comes to Ray-Ban Prescription Sunglasses, some labs in the States are authorized to match the color, materials and technology. However the logo will not be on the prescription lenses. The frame will be!

Only the prescription glasses Ray-Ban are made in china. The sunglasses are made in Italy.

I questioned there authenticity and this is what he told me.... "no dude they are legit. ok you cant tell anyone but the guy i get them from works in the rayban plant in hong kong. he gets surplus ones and he sells them. so thats why they are cheap."

Hong Kong sounds fishy to me

It will bother you because you know you are wearing fakes. Some fakes may not offer any UV protection which is much worse than wearing no sunglasses at all.

Also, fakes only come with that circle thing. There is no ray ban logo on the case button and it seems the Ray-Ban logo is off center on the case.

A buddy of mine is trying to convince my friends and I he can purchase us Ray Bans for $40 a pair( RED FLAG #1 ). He won't identify his source ( RED FLAG #2 ). This picture my not be a valid picture of what I am purchasing exactly so I was hoping you guys could point out some flaws in this photo that I could use once I have my hands on them.
