Ray Ban The General

To my knowledge, they are both Bausch & Lomb. The other ones, however, have a round logo on both the box and the case that say 50th Anniversary, whereas the other ones only have a round logo on the case that says Bausch & Lomb impact resistant lense, and no round logo on the box. So which ones are the first edition and which ones are the second? Anyone?

At this time the [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray-Ban[/link] General has been discontinued. The "50th Anniversary" edition was available for a short time to commemorate the 50 years of [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray-Ban[/link] and their Aviator style but it's no longer in production. The "2nd Edition" was also available due to public response. The closest model offered now is the [url=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-icons-rb3025-aviator-polarized-sunglasses.html]Ray-Ban Aviator Large Metal Sunglasses RB3025[/url].

The usual etchings and marking should be present on the [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray-Ban[/link] Outdoorsman. However they are also no longer in production so the pair you are viewing may have logos in different locations.

I have recently purchased [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray Ban[/link] The Generals with the original case and box. I have since noticed that there seem to be two slightly different versions, the difference being that the other ones have "50th Anniversary" round logo on both the box and the case. Mine does not. I would assume that one of these are perhaps second edition? I have heard a rumour that some generals have 2nd edition or something similar written on them. A feat that sellers might not want to promote in their listings. Which ones are the second edition, or does the "50th Anniversary" round logo mean something else?

Do the black [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray Ban[/link] Driving series Outdoorsman Chromax [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/rx-eyeglasses.html]glasses[/link] not have the normal etchings on the frame (size, B&L USA)? Or am I looking at fakes? The lenses have the lightning logo and the B&L etchings, but as far as I can tell, the frames are just plain.
