Help me identifying if this pair of rayban wayfarer are real

It is very difficult to say by the paint job itself. Usually even fake [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/sunglasses.html]sunglasses[/link] have good painting on them. It depends on case by case basis. The [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray Ban[/link] [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/sunglasses.html]sunglasses[/link] on the picture look real to me.

What about the painting/writing on the inside...the "wayfarer" I would assume fakes would have some sort of crappy spray paint type job on them?

I have noticed that the button on the case will sometimes be absent of the [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray-Ban[/link] logo. Try to only purchase from authorized retailers like [url=http://www.opticsplanet.com/]OpticsPlanet Inc[/url].

Are there common ways or common errors in spotting real vs fakes on places such as ebay?

Look original to me, however I did spot a lot of fakes on Ebay so I would not be comfortable buying [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray Ban[/link] [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/rx-eyeglasses.html]glasses[/link] on-line anymore..

Thank you they are original :D I bought them and then took them to a store! just to make sure :lol:
:) the lenses were replaced for prescription ones! seems the former owner was kinda blind.. but everything seems in order.. changing thelenses tomorrow so I can enjoy them with my 20/20 vision

Thanks for dropping by. I would say that you have a pair of vintage [url=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-icons-rb2140-original-wayfarer-sunglasses.html]Ray-Ban Wayfarers RB2140[/url]. The white logo on the lens is a recent feature. [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray-Ban[/link] used to simply etch their lenses when they were owned by [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/bausch-lomb-brand.html]Bausch and Lomb[/link]. They look well made and authentic.

In my opinion I would say go for it!

Im about to buy these [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/sunglasses.html]sunglasses[/link].. used but they dont have the white logo on the lens nor the RB on the other lens... which seems weird to me.. the rest is fine!
Please help me out :P I need to know if these are the real deal or just some fake stuff
