The RX5280 is made at both locations. Therefore there is no way of telling which country your [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/rx-eyeglasses.html]glasses[/link] will be stamped with. Any [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray-Ban[/link] factory in any country has top of the line equipment that meets and exceeds [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray-Ban[/link]'s standards.

To answer your question they sound 100% authentic. The "T" is just coding for the frame. I hope this helps.

Hi, I'd like help with [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray Ban[/link] authenticity.

I have a pair of 5280 2012 and the seller states that these [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/rx-eyeglasses.html]glasses[/link] are made in Italy. I am doubting that information and therefore the authenticity of my [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/rx-eyeglasses.html]glasses[/link].

Inside the right arm, is [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray Ban[/link] T. What does the T stand for? and then there are the CE marks. On the other side, I have the measurements RB5280 2012 53 16 140. On the bridge is also lightly embossed 53 16 (I think). And I have the [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-brand.html]Ray Ban[/link] logo on each side of the outer frame and on the left end.

Are they genuine and are they made in China is my question. I'm not sure what I'd be more upset about, the fact thay were made in China or the fact that the seller has misled me. I happily buy products from China every day but I hate being misled!
