Haven't tested that one, yet, but should be a good choice, yes.
Spotting scopes are used at those distances by bench rest shooters to judge mirage and air currents, but only rarely does the atmosphere allow you to use a scope at that distance for scoring, even with the highest grade scopes. At those distances, you need to be thinking of a remote camera setup or a spotter to help to consistently score targets.
