Bushnell legend ultra hd 15-45x60mm

Thanks for the response, I reciveid the spotter today and I have to say I was very disappointed with it. I don't know if I got a lemon or what the deal was but i was not impressed. I bought the scope online and it was labeled as "factory refurbished like new condition,". I thought that it would be fine but I guess I was wrong, and I know I will never buy factory refurbished again. Can anybody share there experiences when they bought factory refurbished stuff. The fit and finish of the scope seemed very poor quality to me, it reminded me of a spotter of 100$ or less quality, so needless to say I was a little disappointed when I see this spotter retail for around 500$ on some websites. As far as [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com]optical[/link] performance it wasn't much, it had horrible eye relief and wasn't even as close to as clean as my old cabelas spotter which retailed for around 3-400$ 10 years ago? I don't know if I'm to picky or what but coming from a guy who has never even looked through a top of the line spotter I don't know that I could be, so I sent it back this afternoon and I'm going to save my money and look into the zen ray ed 2 [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/spottingscopes.html]spotting scope[/link]. I am a big fan of the legend HD series. We have a brick wall about 100 yards out our doorway here that I like to start my tests on. I've taken that scope and checked to see any spherical aberration or even chromatic aberration by looking at the lines from the white mortar to red brick, nothing. Just to the south of that wall it jumps to about 250-275 yards and lots of vegetation, same thing, little to none spherical and no noticeable chromatic aberration. The ED glass does a good job and at that price point that scope is a huge winner.
On the shooting side, Ive used a 20-60x80 Legend HD and have seen .223 holes at 400+ yards. Decent weather conditions, but still great that a $400 spotter can get me that clarity.

Good choice with the Legend.

There is tons of great information on here and great deals on stuff here! My question however is I just bought but haven't received yet a [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/bushnell-legend-line.html]bushnell legend[/link] ultra hd 15-45x60mm [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/spottingscopes.html]spotting scope[/link], and am wondering what to expect optically out of it. I did my research online and decided to go with it cause it was in my price range and seemed like a good fit for me. I currently own a cabelas professional spotter 16-48x50mm [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/spottingscopes.html]spotting scope[/link] that is about 10 years old. I'm hoping that the [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/bushnell.html]bushnell[/link] will be an upgrade from my old cabelas [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/spottingscopes.html]spotting scope[/link] and was wondering if any one could shed some light on this for me? Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks, Jason
