Hello Joe,

Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns about OpticsPlanet. I’m sorry that you had a poor shopping experience at I understand that a business never gets a second change to make a first impression, but I assure you that our second impression will be better than the first.
We are always working to update our site as well as our inventory control system. We try to always keep everything in stock, and we are adding improvements to our site to give you a better idea of shipping times before your order.
If you're concerned that the product you're looking for may be out of stock, please give us a call and one of our representatives will double check our inventory to make sure your item is in stock and ready to ship. Please accept our apology for this inconvenience and we hope you give OpticsPlanet a second chance.

Best regards,

To whom it may concern:

I hope you interpret this message as constructive criticism and not an attack. There's an old saying in the business world..."You never get a second chance to make a first impression."

My first order and impression of your company is not a good one. The item that I attempted to purchase was not in stock. I realize you folks have low prices & free S&H as well as broad product selection. This is all just window dressing & empty promises if your customers can't reliably order and receive these products in a timely manner. You folks need to update to a real time inventory control system. I will not make another purchase from your company until you do so.

FYI, I went over to Amazon & purchased the same item & it was one dollar more expensive & included free S&H. Plus they have a real time inventory control system. If you're going to stay in business & grow, you need to be better then your competitors. It seems you need to make some improvements.
