Re: Gloves?

Here are some characteristics of natural materials:

Goat Skin – Known for high abrasion resistance and a slightly rougher texture
Cow Hide – Very consistent in quality and weight; flexibility in finishes
Sheep Skin – A very thin leather known for its superior softness and pliability
Deer Skin – Recognized for its long term wearability and non-slip grip

Properties of protective, insulating and other sythetic materials:

Protective, high-tech fabrics like Spectra®, KEVLAR®, NOMEX®, LiquiCell®, and Hipora® are selected to provide
state-of-the-art protection from cuts, punctures, chemicals, heat and flames.

Insulating materials such as Hydrofil®, Thermostat, Thermolite™ and Thinsulate™ assure breathability and moisture
control for long-term comfort.

The most advanced synthetic materials, including Lycra, neoprene, Synsi-feel and Schoeller Dynamic-Extreme fabric,
are employed to assure the ultimate in comfort, flexibility and wear ability.

As for half-finger models, the obvious benefit is allowing full use the fingertips while protecting the rest of the hand.

Also, could someone tell me the pros and cons of synthetic materials?

I'm looking into gloves, but I don't know much about them. Could someone please explain to me the pros and cons of the different types of leather like cow, goat, or sheep? Also, what are the pros and cons of half-finger compared to full-finger?
