Hmm... I was having a lot of trouble deciding between the two. At first I really liked the 2244, but then I tried on a similar pair as the 2720 and they seemed to look good on me. But I wonder if the fact that the 2244s are discontinued makes them more unique. What would you do? Do you think one pair would look better on my face shape than the other, or have any other advantage you can think of? Also, what color what you recommend for either pair for me?
Persol stands for their lens quality and offers outstanding optical technology. But as far as I know Persol does not have an authentic Rx program. So, the lenses you receive will be generic prescription lenses you could get in any other frames.
One thing I was considering is to get the Persol
sunglasses, buy contacts, and wear them over the contacts. This would be more efficient as when I take the
sunglasses off (e.g. inside) I'll still be able to see. However, I've never tried contacts before and I'm not sure if I'll be able to stand them.
If you are looking for high quality Rx lenses, take a look at
Serengeti prescription sunglasses collection.
Serengeti runs their own prescription lens program and you will get Rx lenses of the same quality as
Serengeti plano
sunglasses lenses. Their lens technology combines a lot of features: photochromic, sharp contrast, blue light blocking, glare reduction and UV protection.
Are these much more expensive than typical lenses? Sounds it.
