Hi

The LOMO P-111 sells for less than $100, but it has absolutely nothing in common with other microscopes in its price range. It is a Russian made(not Chinese, like the 9260) and is basically a stripped down version of the high-end LOMO Multiscopes. It uses the same iris control and dual focsing (not found on the 9260) and it also uses the same quality objectives as the research grade LOMOs. It is priced low only because we purchased this model in bulk from LOMO in Russia. This is easily the best buy in a beginner's microscope on the market and when the remaining stock are gone, there won't be anymore. No longer made by LOMO, but it does take all the standard LOMO Multiscope accessories.
