Hi
To get a
microscope comparable to what is used in a junior high or high school classroom, look for a model with both coarse and fine focus and built-in illumination. A minimum here would be a
Konus Academy,
or the
Celestron 44104. If you need to save money, you can drop down to a mirror model, such as the
Celestron 44102, but a built-in light source is well worth the extra money.
