Outside or Inside Dimensions?

I am looking for a soft carry case that will accomodate an AR15 with scope and red dot. I am having a hard time finding one wide enough to accomodate the scope and dot attachment. Here is the kicker.... i am looking for this in pink camo! Any sugestions!?

Plano displays the Outside Dimensions of their cases. To be safe, I would figure the inside dimensions to be about 1"-1.5" less in overall length and width.

Are the dimensions given on the Plano Molding Large Black Weatherproof Pistol Case 108020 (18.4"x14.25"x8") inside or outside dimensions? I have a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 and am having trouble finding an affordable case that will fit. It has a Red/Green Dot Optic plus a folding forend grip which needs at least 7.5" of clearance and a lengthwise measurement of at least 18" in order for it to fit in the case.

If anyone can let me know of a case which will be a good one to use for my Sub 2k please let me know.
