ATN Viper

Post by ATN_Rep on Mon Jun 09, 2008 5:08 pm

Thank you for your inquiry, it sounds to me like your unit has a power supply problem, from the mentioned humming and that fact that the IR turns on but the tube doesn't fire up. That problem is not expensive to fix and we can do the repairs for you. If the unit is still under warranty it would not cost you anything, if the unit is out of warranty the cost is minimal.

If you would like to get the unit repaired please give us a call for an RMA#.

All the best,

I'm having problems with my AMT Viper Night Vision Goggles. When I turn them on, it makes a humming noise and a red light comes on. When I look through them though, all I see is a blueish white haze. Some people have told me that if I left them on long enough it will get better, because a bright light must have shined into them. I left them on for 10 minutes and it didn't really get better. Now, I sold them to a close friend to try to fix because I was fed up with them, but I can get them back, or ask him some more questions about it. If this is a common problem or you know I can fix it I'll get them back and try it, but if I'm out of luck then a response would be great, thanks!
