The Bushnell Guardianis only about a hundred bucks and works well. It also has a separate IR button that lets you use the unit without the light if you want to.

I am looking for an affordable (preferrably below 200) night vision device.
It is necessary that the IR diod can be completely closed of but I have understood that this is not always the case.

Can you advice?
