Civilians cannot get the ANPVS7 or ANPVS14, but they can get the versions that did not meet mil spec. You can get a PVS7 and PVS14 as well as their clones, such as the 6010 and 6015, NVG7 and so on. These are the same units used by the military, but in versions that did not met mil spec for all categories of perfromance -sigal to noise ratio, screen quality and line pairs of resolution. Will meet one or two of these, but not all three. Price will vary accordingly.

What I meant was quality of civilian models vs. military models. I have read through the post here and it seems Gen II are the only way to go.

Civilians can own the PVS-14 models. We do offer the ITT Night Quest PVS-14 monocular. We also offer the ITT Night Quest 6015 which is essentually the same model without the gain control.

I am very familiar with the military models of NVGs. What civilian models compare with AN/PVS-14? Or 7Bs?

Thank you.
