The performance is pretty similar with all gen one products. In this case, the ATN Night Scout is the largest, and although a good unit, a bit clumsy. The Yukon Viking is less so, and the Bushnell the smallest, the most ergonomic, and comfortable. You said navigation. You need one power to walk in the woods, if that's what you were referring to. 2.5x is too much. The choice would be the Yukon with 3.5 power as opposed to the more handy size of the Bushnell with 2.5 power. The lower magnification is more pleasing to most folks, but it's your call. Save quite a bit with the Bushnell as well.

I am looking for my first pair of night vision binoculars. I will be using them for camping, wildlife and night time navigation. Right now it is between the ATN Night Scout, the Yukon Viking rx 3.5x40 and the Bushnell 2.5x42. I do not know which one is best for what i want. Any input will be helpful, thanks
