ATN exportable night vision devices with Gen 2i (Gen 2+ international standard), Gen2iA (Gen 2+ international A Grade) and CGTi (Custom Grade Tubes) intensifier tubes with Luminous Sensitivity less then 350, and with Figure of Merit less then 1000 can be exported outside the USA.

Does the above apply to your website?

Hi, actually you can buy Gen.2, Gen.3 and Gen.4 IIT units in europe.

And it should not be a problem to export them to Canada.

The U.S.still have their ITAR regulations.
So to export Gen.3 from the U.S.affords a special governments licence for departments or military units
and even then you are only allowed to import image intensifiers up to FOM 1600.

We don't make the laws, we just follow them. Glad you found a source.

thanks for the reply furtunately i have found a supplier in canada that sells gen 2 and up. he has no restrictions to sell in canada or usa. see why i mean this export law makes no sense.

Sorry, due to laws and restrictions in effect here in the US, as well as the cost and delays in processing the necessary paperwork and liceneses, we do not export Gen 2 or higher NV products. Please see our export policy at
