I am researching
scopes to put on my .270 and have a couple questions. The
scopes I am considering include gen 1
ATN,
ATN Night Arrow, Pulsar N550, and PS-22. First, I am a little confused about eye relief comments. Is there a risk of getting kicked in the eye with larger calibers on some of these units? I understand the PS-22 fits in front of my existing scope so no problem there but wondered if there is an issue on any of the others with larger calibers. Second, please give me a recommendation based on what I am doing. I am hunting hogs and Coyotes and would like a scope that can reliably reach out to 100 yards although most shots will be under 100. I want a high quality scope. I am willing to pay more for a quality scope that fits those expectations but if Gen 1 will do what I need then I am happy not spending the extra money. I am seeing pros and cons for the N550 but not sure I have yet read a real (field tested) long-term review of the scope. What i have read sounds very interesting but taking comments, both good and bad, with a grain of salt.
